The COVID-19 crisis has canceled events, closed stores, and disrupted almost every aspect of our lives. If you’re one of the millions of Americans who rely on cosmetic and medical aesthetic services, you might be worried that you’ll have to wait out the virus in order to get the care you need. Fortunately, our doors are still open, both online and at our office.

At Baheri Wellness Center in Beverly Hills, California, Dr. Mehran Baheri and his experienced staff are dedicated to giving you the support and expert care you count on without jeopardizing your or the staff’s health and safety. Here’s how we’re navigating the pandemic to deliver top-notch care safely.

Medical spa services and COVID-19

Keeping up with your regular medical aesthetic treatments like body sculpting is a great way to maintain your confidence, inside and out. With a positive attitude and less stress about your appearance, you give your immune system a helping hand. That’s why we encourage you to come and see us if you’re feeling healthy and are comfortable venturing out.

Similarly, maintaining your progress when it comes to your weight loss journey can also help you fight against COVID-19. Obesity puts you at higher risk for contracting the virus, so the best thing you can do for your health is to prioritize your weight-loss goals.

Telehealth options

We understand you may have many reasons to prefer to stay home. Maybe you or a loved one at home is a high-risk individual, or maybe you simply feel safer within the confines of your own home. Even if that’s the case, Dr. Baheri and his staff still want to see you.

We’re proud to offer telehealth services to all of our patients. With this option, you can request a virtual appointment and meet one-on-one with Dr. Baheri through a high-definition, two-way video conference. Your virtual meeting is secure and confidential, just as it would be if you were sitting in his office.

There are some limitations to telehealth services in the aesthetics world. We, of course, cannot administer Botox injections or the radiofrequency power of the Contoura system through the screen, but we can meet with you to monitor your progress, discuss any concerns or symptoms you might have, and manage your prescriptions and supplements.

Our telehealth services are covered by most insurance carriers, so we encourage all of our patients to take advantage of this technology, especially if you’re uncomfortable coming into the office, have been exposed to the virus, or are experiencing symptoms.

In-office precautions

If you’re ready to come in for an in-person appointment, our doors are open to you, though it will be a little different than the last time you were here.

We’ve made our office as safe as possible for both our patients and our staff. Per the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our state government, we’ve implemented regular office cleanings, especially on contact surfaces. We thoroughly clean all devices and properly dispose of single-use applicators.

We also practice social distancing guidelines and use personal protective equipment like gloves and masks to keep you safe. To help limit the number of people in the office, we ask that you call ahead to schedule an in-office appointment.

We may be wearing masks, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be smiling underneath them when we see you walk through the door. Our team is ready to help you continue your journey toward looking and feeling your very best.

If you’d like more information or would like to schedule an in-office or virtual appointment, call our friendly staff or request an appointment online.
